Taj Mahal and Agra Overnight Tour – By Car

Presented herein are guidelines on how to partake in an excursion to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh, Etimad-Ud-Daulah and Fatehpur Sikri from New Delhi.

Day 1: Collection of passengers in Delhi/NCR and transport them to Agra.

Your tour will commence in the morning, approximately between 08:00 AM and 09:00 AM. Our designated driver will arrive at your hotel or the airport in Delhi to collect you. We will then proceed to Agra, which is estimated to take approximately 3 hours via the New Yamuna Expressway. Upon arrival in Agra, you will be checked into your hotel. At the same time, your tour guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby. Following lunch, we will visit Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh, and Etimad-Ud-Daulah. After the sightseeing tour, we will return to the hotel, where you can enjoy your evening at your leisure.

You will be accommodated overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Agra Sightseeing, followed by an excursion to the historical site of Fatehpur Sikri, culminating in a return journey to the city of Delhi

At 6am, or possibly earlier during the summer months, you will be collected from your hotel in order to embark upon a visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise. This will afford you the opportunity to witness the breathtaking beauty of India’s most renowned monument. Following this, you will return to your hotel for breakfast and check-out. Subsequently, you will enjoy an excursion to Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved red stone city which served as the estranged capital of Mughal emperor Akbar and was constructed in 1569 A.D. This location is also commonly referred to as the “Ghost City”. Finally, you will be driven back to Delhi, with fond memories of your time spent in Agra.

You will be dropped off at your preferred location or at the airport in Delhi.

• Upon booking, a confirmation will be provided. It is recommended that guests adhere to a smart casual dress code, particularly when visiting places of worship.
• Sleeveless tops and shorts are not deemed appropriate.
• Any dietary restrictions should be communicated at the time of booking.
• As this tour involves a moderate amount of walking, comfortable walking shoes and protective eyewear/sunscreen are highly recommended.
